For Green Drinks in February we have invited Charles Ainger back to talk about the Low Carbon Chilterns Cooperative (LCCC) which has been set up in the last few months.

LCCC are working to reduce the carbon footprint of the Chilterns, through helping communities save energy and generate renewable energy.  

The group came about from a number of local towns and villages realising they were all working towards the same aim and deciding a group effort would save time and energy (!)

Transition Town Chesham are part of the founding member group and Charles is the Chairman of the LCCC.

He will talk about how the group came to be and what we hope to achieve, together with perhaps some discussions about how other cooperative schemes work and how we hope to help local community buildings & householders with energy audits and installations of solar pv & other renewable energy solutions in the future.

Come along and hear about this exciting new local initiative for renewable energy production.”
